Speculations were on for a long time as to who will pair up against SRK in his upcoming film with Farah Khan, titled 'Happy New Year'. As many heroines kept hinting that she will be the one for the role, Sharukh has now confirmed Deepika Padukone as the heroine for this film too, after 'Chennai Express'.
Though it was almost clear that it's Deepika who would do the role, the actress chose to stay silent among the chaos that pointed to the others in the industry as prospective heroines for the film. Even now, Deepika prefers not to comment on the news. Meanwhile Farah Khan has confirmed that the film will go on the floors in September this year. Also, Deepika has planned to split her time effectively between this film and Imtiyaz Ali's next, from January 2014.
