Last week it was Nila who reportedly said ‘Jaganmohini’ would be her last film as she had to concentrate on her hotel business. And this week, it is the turn of Deepu to bid adieu to acting, as she is all set to leave for London to pursue a degree in business management.

“It was my long time dream to study business management. Finally, I managed to get a seat in a reputed b-school in the UK. I will stay there for a year to complete the degree. So I have no other option than quitting acting profession,” she says. The actress, who made a mark with films like ‘Anbu’ and ‘M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi’, says, “I am yet to decide whether to continue acting or not after completing studies. Let’s see how things get shape.”

Two of Deepu’s films are waiting for release. They are ‘Thairiyam’ starring newcomer Kumaran and ‘Ullam’. The actress already holds a degree in English literature, according to circles close to her.
