Tollywood is certainly very professional when compared with Bollywood.

Actors, actresses and other crew here are mostly very understanding and hence understand the value of time.

Yet from time to time, films have been delayed and this indeed becomes a huge strain on the producers.

In the last two years or so, late releases have become bit of burden on an industry that otherwise has excellent reputation.

Films like Athadu, Andarivadu (despite the best efforts of the producer and Chiranjeevi), Vijayendra Varma couldn't make it to the theaters on the appointed date.

This was bit of shame. But what is worrying is the fact that many more films are struck in the pipeline for one reason or the other.

Take the case of Style, produced by Larsco Entertainments of Lagadapati Sridhar, the film has been in the making for several months now.

To be sure, the film’s director Lawrence Raghavender and the other artistes including Prabhu Deva, Raja and Charmi are busy as a bumblebee. But that doesn’t condone the delay of the film. It is slated for release only next year.

In fact, many film take nearly six months to complete ----a long period for the hapless producers who have to borrow money at high interest rates.

So the time to tighten the time belt is now.
