Actress Nagma started it all.
Suddenly Bhojpuri seems to be a hot destination for Tamil film artistes and technicians.
Nagma, after finding herself out of movies here in Tamil, moved to Bhojpuri. She was so successful that she was anointed the dream girl tag there.
And then Rambha followed suit. The voluptuous heroine is now the reigning top star there with six movies in her kitty there. Many of her successful Tamil movies are being remade there.
After Rambha, Thejashri is planning to shift base to Bhojpuri. But it is not actresses alone who find Bhojpuri films attractive.
Director-producer Saran too seems enamoured by Bhojpuri films.
He is mulling making films in Bhojpuri, and in this effort, his production house is looking for suitable story, artistes and directors.
