'Thenisai thendral' Deva has sung a song in the movie 'Modhi Vilayadu'. Music for the movie has been composed by the colonial cousins Hariharan and Lesle Lewis. The music director who's famous for his Ghana songs used to sing in his own composition. He first rendered his voice for 'Mari Muthu Nillapa' in which Bharathwaj debuted as a music director.

The song was a super hit from the movie 'Kadhal Mannan' starring Ajith which was Saran's debut film. After a long gap, Deva is again lending his rustic voice for the tunes of another songster.

Now, he does the title song that starts with the lyrics 'Modhi Vilayadu…'. Vinay and Kajal Agarwal plays the lead cast in Modhi Vilayadu which is being directed by Saran. The movie is being canned at a brisk pace and a major portion has been completed with the exception of a few scenes and songs.

Saran's next with Ajith after the erstwhile blockbusters has been titled as 'Asal'. Harris Jayaraj has been roped in to bring out some captivating tunes.
