As we all know Kaaka Muttai` was selected to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival and the crew had gone to Canada to promote the movie. The movie was produced jointly by Dhanush`s Wunderbar Films & Vetrimaran`s Grass Root Films. The movie was screened a couple of days ago and the crowd gave a standing ovation to Manikandan`s debut directorial venture.

The plot deals with two children who wish to eat Pizza at least once in their lifetime and whether they end up living their dream or not. The reviews from overseas are showering praise on the movie and calls it a genuine world class stuff from Manikandan. Kaaka Muttai` has been the first movie ever to get selected from Tamil to the Toronto Film Festival which is directed by a debutante.
