At a time when many actors, including leading ones, work on one film and leave their next projects undecided, two actors are enjoying a free run and making the most of their fame today: Dhanush and Jai. Both actors have six movies each in their kitty.

Dhanush has been Kollywood’s lucky kid. With a dream launch under his father’s banner, the actor has been a trendsetter of sorts, reiterating that Tamil cinema is still not an industry dominated by looks but focuses on talent. The actor, fresh from the success of 'Padikkadhavan', is working on 'Kutti' with Mitran Jawahar. The film, an adaptation of the Telugu film 'Arya', has him paired with Shriya. Besides, he is also working on 'Aadukalam', directed by Vetrimaran with Trisha as his pair.

But that’s not all. He is also signed up for brother Selvaraghavan’s next film, 'Idhu Maalai Nera Mayakkam'. Apart from these, he is also expected to do a guest role in Subramaniyam Siva’s next film, a remake of the Malayalam Prithviraj film, 'Nandanam'. The project is tentatively titled 'Un Mugam Parthene'. He has also signed up for a film 'Yogi'.

The same goes for actor Jai, who is expecting the release of 'Adhey Neram Adhey Idam'. He has also acted in Ahmed’s 'Vaamanan' and has signed up for Venkat Prabhu’s 'Goa', Moser Baer’s 'Aval Peyar Thamizharasi'. 'Arjunan Kadhali' and 'Rakkozhi' are two of his other films announced.
