It is been three and a half years since music director Anirudh was introduced to Tamil cinema by Dhanush in his home production 3` directed by Aishwarya R Dhanush. Why this Kolaveri di`, the song in the film went on to become a global hit and catapulted both the hero Dhanush and Anirudh to the heights they currently rule.

Now the song Why this Kolaveri di` has been viewed a mammoth 100 million times on You Tube which just puts the number as one of the all time great hits globally.
