As we all know Dhanush is celebrating his 31st birthday today (July 28)the versatile actor who is fresh from the success of 'VIP' (D25) does not get much of breathing time because of the projects he is committed to. His 'Anegan' has reached the last phase of shooting and his collaboration with Bollywood Superstar, Amitabh Bachchan 'Balki' is shaping up really well. Last night (Sunday) he took a flight to seek blessings from his parents for his birthday got a pleasant surprise from his wife.

Aishwarya Dhanush has invited many friends from the industry including Mani Ratnam, Suhasini, Selvaraghavan, Suriya, Jyothika, Silambarasan, Sivakarthikeyan, Amala, Surabhi, Vijay Yesudas, Shriya Reddy, Anirudh, Vijay Sethupathy, KV Anand, AL Vijay, P Madhan, Balaji Mohan, Dayanidhi Alagiri were among the people spotted at the party. Dhanush did not expect this grand surprise and floored by it.

On a special note, Dhanush said he believes that God has been his driving force else he would not have made it this far. And he also thanked his ardent fans who made him a star.
