Dhanush is shooting on the Eiffel Towers in Paris for the last leg of shooting for his Hollywood debut The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir` directed by Ken Scott and co-starring Bérénice Béjo, Barkhad Abed, Erin Moriarty and Abel Jafri. The story adapted from a novel by Romain Puértolas , Dhanush plays a simple man who journeys the world and finds love in Paris, danger with Somalian immigrants in England, becomes a star dancer in Rome and a grand adventure across the Mediterranean in an air balloon.

The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir` is a co-production of France, India and Belgium and Sony Pictures International has already acquired the rights for UK and France. The film is planned as March or May 2018 release worldwide.
