Remember Thiruvilayadal? Who can forget that mythological movie starring Sivaji Ganesan in the lead role directed by A P Nagarajan.

After a long gap of nearly four decades,Thiruvilayadal is back on big screen and it would star Dhanush in the lead role. Hold on. Unlike its predecessor, it would be a youthful entertainer to be directed by Boopathy Pandian.

Boopathy Pandian and Dhanush come together after Devadhaiyay Kandein for Thiruvilayadal.

According to Boopathy Pandian, it is Thiruvilayadal but is about personal peccadilloes. The rest of the cast and crew has not been finalized.

The interesting aspect is that Dhanush's father-in-law is set to act as Sivaji. It is only natural the son-in-law acts in a film with a name made famous by Sivaji.
