This week`s major attraction at the box office is undoubtedly VIP2` powered by Dhanush`s mass hero image which could upset the current toppers and rule for the next two weeks and more. The film` story synopsis has been revealed from the Singapore censor board which we publish here as there are no spoilers and simply reflects the trailer.

According to the synopsis, Velailla Pattadhari 2` is about the relationship between Raghuvaran (Dhanush), a rising young architect and Vasundara (Kajol) the boss of a top construction company. When he turns down a job offer in her company, she takes the rejection personally and decides to end his career. The film has been censored without any cuts with PG13 rating in Singapore and the running time has been stated as 2hours and 8 minutes which is real crisp.

Produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu and Wunderbar Films, VIP2` is directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and the ensemble cast includes, Dhanush, Kajol, Amala Paul, Vivekh, Samuthirakani, Monal Gajjar, Hrishikesh and Saranya Ponvannan. Sean Rolden scores the music while Samir Tahir takes care of the camera and Sathyaraj Natarajan the editing. The film hits the screens worldwide on the 11th of August 2017.
