Director K.S.Ravikumar's 'Mudinja Ivana Pudi' starring Sudeep and Nithya Menen in lead roles and director Raju Murugan's second outing 'Joker' have been confirmed to hit the screens for the Independence Day holiday weekend starting on August 12. Another Tamil film that has been confirmed as of now to release for I Day weekend is actor Vikram Prabhu-Ranya Rao starrer 'Wagah' directed by GNR Kumaravelan.

Dhanush's much expected flick 'Thodari' directed by Prabhu Solomon which was earlier touted to hit the screens on August 12 is likely to be postponed to August 19 according to information from reliable sources.

Vijay Sethupathi's 'Dharmadurai' directed by Seenu Ramasami is expected to hit the screens in August but the date is yet to be confirmed.
