Actor Dhanush is presently busy shooting for 'Kodi' directed by Durai Senthilkumar. The shooting of this political thriller in which Dhanush plays dual roles for the first time has been taking place in Pollachi for the past several weeks.

Dhanush also has a yet to be titled film directed by Prabhu Solomon getting ready to hit the screens in the first half of 2016.

Amid these two films the actor-producer is also contemplating on making a sequel to his 2015 super hit film 'Maari' directed by Balaji Mohan.

According to reliable sources close to Dhanush, Balaji Mohan is busy penning the script for 'Maari 2' and the sequel can be expected to go on floors from October 2016. Anirudh Ravichander who scored music for 'Maari' will be retained for the sequel as well.
