Director Durai Senthilkumar worked as an Assistant to acclaimed director Vetrimaran. He directed his first film 'Ethirneechal' Dhanush's production banner and it turned out to be a debut any newcomer would have dreamt of. His second film 'Kaaki Sattai' was also for the same banner and that was again a hit.

After two back to back successes Durai reached the next stage of directing Dhanush a star actor in his first dual role flick 'Kodi'. The film that released for Diwali festival has achieved commercial success as well as critical acclaim.

Reports suggest that Superstar Rajinikanth the father-in-law of Dhanush watched the film and he is mightily pleased with the political drama and has apparently suggested his son-in-law to do another film with Durai Senthil Kumar.

From reliable sources we learn that things are getting firmed up for a Dhanush-Durai reunion. The source adds that this would be a gangster flick.

Dhanush has portrayed a gangster in his brother Selvaraghavan's critically acclaimed film 'Pudhupettai' to much acclaim. He is also presently acting in Vetrimaran's 'Vada Chennai' trilogy which will trace the history of gangsters in North Chennai. How Durai is going to present Dhanush in the gangster fold is something that will be interesting to wait and watch.

We will have to wait for things to get official.
