Here we bring you some important information that you need to know about National award winning director Vetrimaran's dream project 'Vada Chennai'.

First of all the talks about the project being shelved is nothing but plain rumor. The rumor may have been caused by Dhanush the lead actor of the trilogy shifting his focus on other projects. But the reliable sources close to 'Vada Chennai' team confirm that Dhanush moved on to his directorial project 'Power Paandi' only after completing the first schedule of 'Vada Chennai'.

The National award winning actor is presently shooting for 'VIP 2'. Dhanush is expected to complete shooting his portions for 'VIP 2', 'Enai Nokki Paayum Thota' and his directorial project 'Power Paandi', by the end of February.

The source confirms that the second schedule of 'Vada Chennai' will start on or around March 10. Dhanush will join the unit in this schedule which will be short for 30-35 days in live locations of Royapuram as the film revolves around the lives of gangsters in North Chennai.

It is to be noted that the first schedule was shot extensively in a prison set erected in Chennai.

Another rumor about the project doing rounds is that versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi whow as committed to play an important extended cameo in 'Vada Chennai' has backed out of the project due to dates clashing with his other projects. But the makers deny this and confirm that the 'Iraivi' actor is very much a part of 'Vada Chennai'.
