It looks like Amala Paul will be the lead lady in Dhanush’s next with Sargunam that has been titled ‘Sottavalakutty’. The film will be an out and out romantic comedy and it is said that Amala, on hearing the script and her character, gave her immediate consent to be a part of the project.

It may be mentioned Sargunam was supposed to work with Amala Paul in Vaagai Sooda Vaa but things didn’t work out and she couldn’t get on board.

‘Sottavalakutty’ will be produced by Kathiresan of Group Company that has earlier produced Dhanush’s Aadukalam and Pollathavan.

‘Sottavalakutty’ will go on floors in September after the duo are free of their other commitments. The film will be shot in Hosur, Dindugal and Nagerkoil.
