By his own acceptance, 'Amma Wake Me Up' from 'Vathikuchi was a playful experimental song, and director Sarkunam wanted something similar from composer Ghibran for the upcoming Dhanush starrer 'Naiyyandi'. And that is precisely what we hear in the teasers now, which goes 'Teddy Bear'. Opening up on the song, Ghibran reveals "Sarkunam wanted an experimental and fun tune for a lighthearted situation in the film and he wanted something on the likes of 'Amma Wake Me Up' and I gave him a draft.

But I was not prepared for his acceptance of the same tune. 'Teddy Bear' is contemporary with dubstep, glitch and 8-bit elements. I sang the rough track, which was used to shoot the song. The song is choreographed by Bobby and it was shot in Switzerland. As Dhanush had listened to the rough track a number of times during shooting, he finished the original track effortlessly in under two hours." The good news is that this track will be available as a single, from tomorrow. 'Naiyyandi' casts Dhanush as a brass lamp vendor and Nazriya as a dentistry student. Make way for yet another track that highlights Dhanush's vocal expertise.
