Music Director Dharan Kumar, who tasted success recently with Podaa Podi is on a roll and has gone on to sign three more films within a small span of time. The composer was originally introduced in Parijatham and impressed, but couldn't make it big as the film didn't do well with the audience. However, the time seems to be right for him is eagerly working on the remake of Band Baaja Baaraat.

“I’ve already composed four songs for the remake of Band Baaja Baaraat. The Hindi songs were big hits and I want the Tamil ones to be spoken about too. The film has a wedding theme, and I’m experimenting with the music. Wedding is one of the grandest functions in south India, and I want to give the listeners some interesting tunes. I will also be working on the remake of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan next.” He said, confirming that he is indeed composing for two Bollywood remakes.

Dharan is also working on a Tamil film starring Srikanth, titled Ethiri Enn 3. “It’s an action thriller, and I’m currently working on the album’s final mix. Simbu has sung an energetic number, Nasukku Nasukku... in it. I’m also working on Virattu, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual that features newcomers. I’ve also sung a song in both these films,” he says excitedly.

His success shows everyone how luck can change in a matter of months in the Tamil film industry.
