None must have failed to enjoy the conversational battles between Mohanlal and the Chief Secretary in Kamal’s ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’. Those dialogues were logically stuffed with sarcasm and wittiness, as each tries to pass the responsibility to the other’s head.

It was such a delight to watch, for the first time, how the officialdom really works in such a tensed situation. We must have not missed to enjoy that sharp punch dialogues in the raspy voice of our CM Mr. M. Karunanidhi that made an eddy of excitement in the theatre.

Everyone was in awe and doubts that if Kamal made our CM to give his voice for this particular piece. But the reality is that the owner of this voice is a mimicry artist called Sethu, who is also a VJ in a popular satellite channel. This man is capable of speaking in 120 voices of famous personalities with such an ease and perfection.

What we hear is that ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’s director Chakri had heard about Sethu’s talent and used him aptly. Looks like Kamal was also unaware about the person who did this mimicry. And later when he came to know about Sethu’s talent Kamal had appreciated him.
