Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa

Thursday, January 1, 1970 • Hindi Comments

The lucky two-some of "Tere Naam" Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla are back again in this latest flick directed by Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. The film also stars Preity Zinta with a special appearance by Ria Sen. An extra touch of glamour is added with Canadian actress Kainaaz.

The story unfolds with Rishabh (Salman Khan), partner in an upcoming media company, and Pari (Preity Zinta) a doctor, in love with each other.

Everything seems to be going fine for the handsome couple when Pari has a fatal accident. Rishabh is devastated. He cannot handle the loss. The four walls of the house that was once a symbol of their love is now full of painful memories.

What stops him from being sucked into deep depression is Pari's last wish - to build a charitable hospital for the poor. Rishabh has to fulfil the dream.

Life takes an unexpected turn for Rishabh when he meets Dhani (Bhumika Chawla).

Dhani has seen some dark moments in her life and makes the most of the smallest joys that life throws her way. She likes to scratch beneath the surface to search for the real person.

Unlike as they are, Rishabh and Dhani are drawn to each other. Rishabh gets a new lease of life. For Dhani this is her first love.

She wants to dance in the rain, feel the wind kiss her cheeks, go swimming, curl up in the winter... do whatever else she can to live life. She even draws up a wish list.

For Rishabh, love means loneliness and pain. Love for him is a constant reminder of Pari who he can never forget.

He reaches out to Dhani only to uncover a harsh and shocking reality. Once again, Rishabh is shattered. He finds himself at the crossroads of life. One road leads him to depression and pain; the other - to accept a decision that involves extraordinary grace and compassion...

The film also stars Helen, Rati Agnihotri, Aasif Sheikh and Renuka Shahane in supporting roles. The petite Riya Sen makes a special appearance.
