Dileep got married to Kavya, his co-star from many films, in 2016 in a private ceremony. Ever since the couple makes a public appearance, it is nothing less of a celebration among fans.

Dileep was previously married to actor Manju Warrier. They have a daughter together named Meenakshi. Dileep and Manju got divorced in 2015 after 17 years of marriage. Dileep and Kavya welcomed their first child Mahalakshmi in 2018.
