Even as his third directorial 'Aandavan Kattalai' has opened to phenomenally positive reviews from every nuke and corner, promising young director Manikandan opened up about the next film 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' , in his exclusive interview to IndiaGlitz.

"My next film is about a farmer and it has been titled as 'Kadaisi Vivasayi'. No it is not about farmers' suicides. It will speak about some other issue but it will be about agriculture. Plus our government, how it is to live in a village, the gap between support offered by the Government and the support that really reach them (Farmers)- the film will deal with such things. It will not pinpoint mistakes on anyone.

But it will be a much needed, must watch film. Cinema is not being used to deal with issues faced by us. It is believed that mainstream will not accept such films. But audience are ready to accept anything that is told in the way the can understand and like. If they don't like, the mistake is in our (Filmmakers) side. The taste of fans has enhanced a lot. To cater to that you have to work well. 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' will be a film liked by everyone."

Manikandan's debut feature film 'Kaaka Muttai' was a multiple awards winning blockbuster. His second directorial 'Kuttramey Thandanai' that released earlier this month was hailed as the film that has taken Tamil cinema, many inches closer to True cinema. Now his 'Aandavan Kattalai' has been lapped up by critics and audience alike and it is all set to become one of the critically acclaimed super hits of the year.

IndiaGlitz wishes Manikandan that all his future projects including 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' get the same result.
