Handsome hunk Arya has toiled and worked extremely hard for his upcoming film 'Kadamban' in which he plays a tribal. The film's first look and teaser released last week has been well received by the fans and proved to be an apt curtain raiser for the film.

In an exclusive interview to IndiaGlitz the film's director Raghavan of 'Manjappai' fame revealed that Arya has increased his body weight up to 90-95 Kgs and he will keep working out even in the shooting spot to maintain the physique.

He also revealed that Arya did not use dupe artist in risky stunt shots such as jumping from a 300 feet hill and running across a 60 feet tree.

While the teaser has created a huge expectation for the film, Raghavan revealed that the shooting is almost complete. "We are presently shooting the climax portions in Thailand. It is the continuation of what we shot three months before. With this the shoot will be wrapped up. Producer RB Choudhary sir is planning to bring the film to theatres as a Pongal treat and working on that deadline."

'Kadamban' stars Catherine Tresa as the female lead and she also plays a tribal in the film. The director confirmed that the film will be in a contemporary setting with a social message.

It is to be noted that Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 60th film 'Baiaravaa' is also heading for a Pongal 2017 release.
