Controversial director Samy who made movies about the lust of a sister-in-law for her husband's brother in Uyir`, AIDS in Mirugam`, and again the taboo sexual relationship between a father-in-law and his daughter- in- law in Sindhu Samaveli` again courted controversy in Kangaroo` which depicted the extreme possessiveness of a brother towards his sister.

Samy is ready with his next script titled Penn Samy` (Goddess) and the director is keen to cast Lakshmi Menon in the lead role as he feels that her bold looks and her body language would suit the role to the T. It remains to be seen if Lakshmi Menon who is busy with Sippai` and Thala 56` will give her nod and whether she will boldly accept a Samy film which is sure to have some level of controversial relationships.
