Director Thiru shares the Mani Ratnam origin of 'Mr. Chandramouli'

The return of evergreen hero Navarasa Nayagan Karthick and his first collaboration with his son Gautham Karthick has created a great buzz for the new movie 'Mr. Chandramouli' directed by Thiru and produced by G. Dhananjayan.

It is common knowledge that in the classic hit 'Mouna Ragam' Karthick would tease his girl friend Revathi by calling out to her dad "Mr. Chandramouli" much to her annoyance and embarassment.  The coffee shop episode aesthetically shot by Mani Ratnam and beautifully enacted by Karthick and Revathi is much loved by movie fans till today.  Director Thiru has shared the lovely scene on his social media implying the origin of his new movie title and here we have it for you to enjoy the connection.
