The success of 'Polladhavan' has sent Divya's spirits soaring high. 'Kuthu' Ramya aka Divya is elated at the response for her recent release at the box office.

"I am against skin show. I played a dignified character in ‘Polladhavan' and it went down well with the masses. All credit to director Vettrimaran and my co-star Dhanush, who motivated me”, Says Divya.

Divya is busy with Gautham Menon's ‘Varanam Aayiram’. She plays Suriya's love in the movie. Her ‘Thoondil’, in which she plays a woman with negative shade, is getting ready for release.

Says Divya, "I have donned different make-ups in 'Varanam Aayiram'. It was a challenging role for me. Hopefully I get due recognition for it."

She plays a commercial sex worker in a Kannada movie opposite Prabhu Deva. It is a movie to create awareness against AIDS and is directed by Santosh Sivan.
