The ‘May Day’ was very special for thousands of cinema workers in Karnataka. The news of cinema workers may get a bonanza from top actor and housing minister of Karnataka Dr Ambarish has come true.

Dr Ambarish coming as guest to Karnataka Cinema Workers Federation on May Day afternoon receiving the honor gave the audio video presentation of the location and houses on 25 acres of land he has chosen for thousands of cinema workers to reside. It is eight kilometers away from Eagleton Club near Bidadi on 25 acres of land.

For BPL card holders it is Rs.1.28 lakhs concession, for two bed room house it is Rs.12 lakhs and Rs.15 lakhs for three bedroom houses.
Dr Ambarish in his address also recalled that he lived with cinema workers more than living with his parents and family.

Dhuniya Vijay came to May Day celebration of Karnataka Cinema Workers Association and received honor. In his address Duniya Vijay cautioned detractors. The due respect to female dancers should be given otherwise I will teach such persons a lesson he said. Vijay also remembered the trouble faced by well known dance director Tribhuvan on this occasion. No one should think of dividing the unity of cinema workers he advised.

The families of cinema workers who are not living today and injured received financial support on this occasion. Dr Ambarish distributed aid to such affected families.

Ashok President of Cinema Workers Federation, Ravishanker, Anu Prabhakar, Gayathri Prabhakar were present.
