As the boom of the Onam season has already come to an end, the reports are clear about the performances of various Onam movies at the Box Office. As per the ratings of the week, the top five goes like this.

1.Dr love - The last of the releases of this Onam which opened in just 30 plus centres has taken the lead in its second week. 'Dr .love'- the debut offering from K Biju is now inviting more viewers to the release centres as it has already increased the numbers of stations to 55. A colourful campus story with some good songs and twists, the movie may well become the first solo hit from Kunchakko Boban, this year.

2. Sevens - The senior director Joshy knows to pitch it right, even while he is with the relatively fresher group from the gang of artists. This time with the script from Dr Iqbal Kutippuram, the movie 'Sevens' is a racy thriller with football as it backdrop. This also makes two in a row for its lead player kunchakko Boban, who is safely guarded in the frames by the other six young actors.

3. My Dear Kuttichathan - This 25 year old Children's classic of Mollywood, still remains the hot favourite among children and their parents in its third avatar too. This time, the movie which is reedited to a 101 minutes playtime still manages to be the spectacle for the new generation child viewers, too.

4. Pranayam - Undoubtedly the best of the movie in the Onam race as far the content and presentations are concerned, this serious flick is lauded as one of the best from its thinking director Blessy. The movie which was made in a reasonably low budget will be safer with its theater collections and satellite rights, though it is currently placed in the fourth position of the B O list.

5.Ulagam Chutumm Vaaliban - The big problem with this Jayaram starrer was that it didn't rise up to the title. The viewers who expected a rollicking, hilarious slapstick film was indeed disinterested to see a tad long, not so merry narratives, which seemed like a rehash of many movies of the past. The second half is better than the former which will help the movie to be in the position of an average earner.
