The Dadasaheb Phalke Award winner, Karnataka Rathna Dr Rajakumar played the last bond film in 1978 in ‘Operation Diamond Rocket’. After 35 years the taut thriller from Dorai Bhagwan in GK Venkatesh music is hitting on silver screen.

Muniraju distributor has given the UFO and Cube transfer to the old print of the film. It is rejoicing time for Dr Rajakumar fans as the film is releasing in 48 theatres. This is something astonishing because a new Kannada film fails to get 20 plus theatres in these days. This shows the power of the power star Puneeth Rajakumar father Dr Rajakumar.

It was Anupama Movies produced by Dorai and Bhagwan and directed by the popular duo. Dr Rajakumar, Padmapriya, Toogudeepa Srinivas, Rajanand, Mamatha Shenoy, Prabhakar, Jennifer, Chandralekha and others are in the cast.

In the music direction of GK Venkatesh it is the first English mixed song sung by Dr Rajakumar. If you Come today…it is too early…if you come tomorrow it is too late…., other songs like Alli Illi Noduve Eke….Nee Naduguve Eke…are popular among film music lovers even after 35 years of the film.

PS Prakash was cameraman, Bhaktavatsalam edited the film, Chi Udayashanker penned dialogues and songs, B Chalam was art director, Y Shivaiah was stunt director for this thriller ‘Operation Diamond Rocket’.

‘Operation Diamond Rocket’ releasing again after 35 years in a grand style. At Kapali theatre, the biggest one a huge cut out of Dr Rajakumar will be garlanded by fans besides burning crackers.
