Dubbed movies are back

A few years ago, Tamil filmdom was dominated by remakes especially from Tollywood. The likes of Dr Rajasekhar, Vijayashanthi and Chiranjeevi had almost all their films dubbed and released in Tamil Nadu.

After a long gap, the dubbing trend is back in Tamil cinema.

Mahesh Babu's Arjun and Lawrence Raghavendra's Style are being dubbed and getting ready for release. Also in the pipeline is Chiranjeevi's Jai Chiranjeeva .

After the Tamil dubbings of Bollywood blockbuster Krissh and Dhoom II, Hindi movies including Manirathnam’s Guru and Ramgopal Verma's Shiva 2006 are also getting released in Tamil.
