The Fourth of July was a pretty dramatic time for the fandoms of Ed Sheeran and Lady Gaga when he was trolled rapidly by the fans of Lady Gaga.

They apparently trolled him so hard that Ed decided to quit social media and go on with his life.

Which the Castle on the Hill singer made it very clear by stating

“I go on it (Social Media) but there`s nothing but people saying mean things. One comment ruins your day.” He admits.

He adds “Twitter`s a platform for that," he continued. "One comment ruins your day. But that`s why I`ve come off it. The head-fuck for me has been trying to work out why people dislike me so much”

The Gaga fans apparently trolled him because he made a statement that was quite against Lady Gaga and it offended the whole fandom.

To which, the Poker Face singer posted a picture of herself with Ed Sheeran and wrote a pretty long message educating people on not to troll people and supporting Ed`s decision to quit Social Media.

However, Ed Sheeran clarified later on that he didn`t quit anything and he was chilling and reading Harry Potter.

He posted the below image on Instagram.

He captioned the picture saying “Loads of Hoo-har about me quitting the stuff. I haven't quit anything, I'm just not reading anything, except Harry Potter” he clarifies.
