In months, Eega may be the neatest film made. It has but a few smoking visuals, necessitated by Sudeep's character. Otherwise, the film is a clean entertainer, which deserves to be watched with the entire family in company. This is what the Censor Board members, who certified the film with a U/A, felt.

Rajamouli is a happy man. "The officer explained the U/A was due to the smoking shots," he says. The film is scheduled to be released on July 6.

Very few prefer to submit their film for the mandatory censor procedure, since they apprehend any negative review emerging from those close to those who have watched it. Not the makers of Eega, who are confident that the film will be a gunshot hit.
