Last year, Ekta Kapoor and Milan Luthria enjoyed the biggest success ever of their Bollywood career with Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi starrer 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai'. A major success, the film immediately led to an announcement of two more films - 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2'. Now that Ekta is through with the release of 'Ragini MMS' and 'Shor In The City' while Milan too has done all the ground work for 'The Dirty Picture', the duo is all set to bring the film on floors this month.

However it wasn't too long ago when it was being said that the two were going through some trying times while putting together 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai', so much so that there were even rumours of the film being stalled. All of that seems to be the story of the past now as both have formed a solid association and can't help but sing praises of each other.

"I had always maintained that there were no issues between Ekta and me. It has always been a collaborative effort since she has such a strong production experience due to her stint with television," says Milan, "Also what works in my favour is that she has that unshakable belief in me. All through the times when so much was being written and spoken about me before OUATIM released, it was she who stood like a pillar of support. She in fact used to motivate me by saying that Bollywood had to wake up to me as I hadn't got my due. Once I got it with OUATIM, she had that glint in her eye that said - 'I told you so'."

Well Milan, one hopes that she has even more statements like these to be made if you indeed manage to crack it right with 'The Dirty Picture'. After all the Vidya Balan starrer can well be expected to be find it's own share of controversies right from it's start till finish.
