Tomorrow, Em Mahan successfully completes 100 days run across few theatres in the State. With the movie declared a hit, director Thirumurugan is all smiles now.

Em Mahan featuring big names like Bharath, Gopika, Nasser, Vadivelu and Saranya was produced by Sathyajothi Thiyagarajan.

Thirumurugan, who directed the successful tele-serial Metti Oli, forayed to big screen with Em Mahan, with the same set which worked under him for the serial namely, dialogue writer Baskar Sakthi, cameraman Sevilo Raja and a few others.

The visibly happy director says, “I was initially tense when I started the movie, but had strong faith in my story line and script. The whole crew gave me good support and encouraged me to come up with my best.”

Though Thirumurugan is tight-lipped about his next project, he assures that he would continue the good run in the industry.

An alumnus of film institute, Thirumurugan came out with an emotional potboiler that dealt with the bonding between a father and son in Em Mahan, with their relationship crossing through various phases.
