'Murder 2' is a huge hit and expectedly, Emraan Hashmi is on cloud nine. After all even though in recent times he had multi starrer successes like 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai' and 'Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji' in his kitty, it was a while since he delivered a solo hit. His 'Crook' as well as 'Tum Mile' hadn't worked which had led to anxious moments for the actor.

With the kind of line up that Emraan has over next one year with as many as six films that he has signed, seems like he would be keeping audience happy with his antics on a regular basis. Currently he is working with directors like Dibakar Bannerjee, Milan Luthria, Vishal Bhardwaj, Vikram Bhatt, Kunal Deshmukh and Mohit Suri on films like 'Shanghai', 'The Dirty Picture', 'Daayan', 'Raaz 3', 'Informer' and 'Murder 2' that should only keep his stocjs up for many more months to come.

Says a trade source, "'Murder 2' has turned out to be his biggest success till date by crossing the business of 'Jannat' (his highest grosser so far) in one week flat. Emraan too knows that now it is time to move on to the next level."

"Of course, who won't want further growth in his career," says Emraan in a nonchalant tone when asked about his future plans, "I guess to be in the industry for 8 years and doing consistently well for yourself is bound to make you proud and confident of yourself. Audience love me when I get into a particular zone and I don't mind re-entering it whenever the need arises."
