Sathyaraj Shakthi Chidambaram after their successful teaming up in films like 'Ennamma Kannu' and ' Mahanadigan', team together yet again for a new film titled 'Englishkaran', with its caption 'Thamizh Vazhga'.

Paired with Satyaraj is Namitha who plays a sports aspirant and playing her sister is Madhumitha as an aspiring playback singer.

Namitha dreams of becoming a P T Usha. Her cousin is Vadivelu who wants to marry her. Madhumitha wants to be a singer like Chitra.

Vadivelu tries to play tricks to dissuade Sathyaraj from eyeing Namitha. Sathyaraj's character is Tamizh Murasu who believes that his thoughts are as advanced like an Englishkaran.

With Satyaraj playing a man, who, with his advanced thinking is similar to M R Radha's thoughts in Ratha Kanneer says the director and also assures that the film holds out a message that if one can strive then anything can be achieved.

Shakthi Chidambaram, apart from penning the film's story, screenplay and dialogue, also co-produces the film with Amudha Durairaj and R Soundarya for the banner Seven Hills Film Factory.

Cinematography by Suresh Devan, art work by Mohan Rajendran, editing by V T Vijayan and stunt choreography by Super Subbarayan the film has Deva scoring the music as well acts in a cameo role.

The supporting cast includes Vadivelu, Aishwariya, Santhanam, Pawan, V M Ravichandran, and 'Kadhal' Dandapani.

Sivabalaji, who played a crucial role in the Telugu hit 'Arya', has been roped to play the young hero opposite Madhumitha.
