Enna Satham Indha Neram

Thursday, January 1, 1970 • Tamil Comments

'Enna Satham Indha Neram' is a first of many sorts - first flick starring quadruplets, first one to be shot extensively in a zoological park, first movie starring Jeyam Raja on screen, first team to shoot in Vandalur Zoo, and first project for a number of people in the crew.

Leaving the others aside, the debut that got the prime focus is the introduction of Aditi, Aakrithi, Akshathy and Aapthi to the silver screen, which earned the film a ticket to the Limca Book of Records, for being the first ever movie to capture quadruplets in the cast. Director Guru Ramesh conceived the idea and let the cameras rolling on it last year, shooting extensively in a zoological park in Hyderabad, followed by a little bit of shooting in Vandalur Zoo; nonetheless, 'Enna Satham Indha Neram' is the first ever team to shoot in this zoo.

Nithin Sathya plays the forest officer who rescues four stranded 7-year olds (played by the quadruplets) after a full day's struggle at the zoo. Jeyam Raja was invited to play the kids' father; though this is not a protagonist's role, Raja humbly agreed to play it nonetheless. Thats way, director Guru Ramesh says that there is no protagonist in particular, in the movie. Maanu, the heroine of Ajith in `Kadhal Mannan' makes a comeback playing the little girls' mother, while a Kerala-based actress Malavika Wales plays a teacher.

Malavika plays the teacher for deaf and mute children, and quite interestingly, she was taught by the same person who trained Jyothika on sign language for 'Mozhi'. The feed so far says that the story is about these quadruplets who lose their way in a zoo, on a school excursion. If two is confusion, then four is nothing less than chaos. So this thriller also promises a good deal of healthy comedy, releasing amidst speculation, this Friday.
