The most awaited upcoming multistarrer film Velaikkaran directed by Mohan Raja was earlier planned for August 25th release. Now the latest piece of news is that the movie has been postponed to 29th of September. The news was officially announced by the makers of the movie, 24 AM Studios, who also confirmed the new release date of Velaikkaran's first look poser.

Here is the official statement from 24 AM Studios, - “We are pleased to inform that our prestigious venture Velaikkaran starring SivaKarthikeyan, Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil and others, Directed by Mohan Raja , will be released on 29th September 2017, on the request from the distributors.
