Shruti Haasan has denied saying she is looking at having children before marriage. Recently, she was quoted saying this by several sections of media. The star actress, speaking to a Telugu daily, explained how she came to be misquoted.
When the 'Sabaah Naidu' diva was asked if she would marry, she said that it's a big responsibility. To another question about children by the same interviewer, the Haasan daughter said that she loves to be a mother.
By mixing the two statements in the wrong spirit, some of them concluded that she wanted to have children before marriage! It's funny that rumour-mongers can conflate two innocuous statements to make bizarre inferences.
