Rajini fans can go to any extent for the matinee idol. Proving this once again, five members of Uzhaipalai Rajinikanth Rasigar Mandram had their heads tonsured at a temple in Tuticorin, for the speedy recovery of the Superstar.

The fan club members, accompanied by their friends and close relatives, offered prayers on Thursday at Sri Muthumariamman Temple in Tuticorin, conducted special poojas and tonsured their heads.

“We want the Superstar to come out of the hospital soon. He is our leader and we will do anything for him. We are leading an honest and decent life only after following his messages in films,” one of the members said.

Meanwhile, sources in the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre have it that Rajini’s health is showing good improvement. Asked about reports that he would be taken to London, they said that they had no idea about it.
