Farhan to Rock On in Goa

The nine member outfit called Farhan Live, will make their debut gig in Goa this weekend as part the annual Carnival celebrations.

The concert will begin with Farhan reciting a piece of shayari from ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ (2011) before he belts out hits from ‘Rock On!!’ (2008) such as "Sinbad the sailor", "Socha hai", "Pichle saat dino mein", "Rock on" as well as songs from ZNMD, including "Dhadakne do" and "Senorita". Around 15,000 people are expected to attend the show.

"I will be performing live after two years. I have recently added ZNMD songs to my playlist. I like the vibe and adrenaline rush of being on stage," says Farhan,

Farhan Live comprises Shannon Donald (vocals), Sarosh Izedyar (lead guitarist), Dibyajyoti Nath (bass guitar) Darshan Doshi (drums) and Umaang Doshi (keyboard), among others.

Said a source close to the actor, "After his debut in Rock On!!, in which he has sung songs too, Farhan performed a lot of shows.

And over the course of these shows, he met several musicians. When he finally decided to form a full-fledged band, he contacted those people. He has been rehearsing with the band since November."
