Feeling cheated 7th Pay Commission: Central Govt. employees

Central government employees will be taking the government to task about the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, one of the main grievances being the allowances.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley promised a hike in the minimum pay a day "after discussions with stakeholders." This never happened, according to the employees union. As of now, the allowances will be rolled out from July 2017, whereas employees have been asking for allowances to be rolled out from July 2016. Other grievances include non-revision of the HRA percentage, decrease in Transport Allowance,
