Super Star Mahesh Babu is acting in the film, 'Aagadu' currently. Tamannaah is the lead actress and Shruti Haasan will appear in a special song in this movie.

The shooting of this film is going on at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad at present and the climax episodes are being shot. A fight sequence is being canned on Mahesh and Sonu Sood. Mahesh will be seen as a police officer in this film and the film is touted to be an action packed entertainer. Thaman is the music director and this is his 50th film as a music director.

Brahmanandam's comedy is said to be one of the highlights of this film.
