Salim Ahammed's latest movie 'Kunjananthante Kada' has been selected for the current edition of the Fiji International film festival. The movie will compete for the awards for Best Film, Best Actor and Best Director awards in the festival which will happen by the month of June. His movie has been earlier selected to the Indian Panorama, Pune International Film Festival and India Interantional Film Festival of South Africa.

Kunjananthante Kada which tells about the intense bonding between a vendor and his shop has Nyla Usha as the heroine and offers a chance for Mammootty and Salim Ahamed to grab honours in the current year's state Awards.
