'Calcutta News', the much delayed film of Dileep is having its final shoots at Munnar. The film which will be completed in a couple of days is now in the final touch sessions to a couple of songs, set to music by Jyothy Mishra.

The latest news is that the technicians of ‘Calcutta News’ is trying hard to get the movie into theatres by the second week of November, that is for this Deepavali. The dubbing works of the film is in its final session in Lal Media. The film has got a big portion of graphics work to be done in DI format.

And if it takes more time than expected, the film will be shifted for a further date as a Christmas release. The theatres which have already advanced for the film is giving much pressure to the producer Thampi Antony, to get it released at the earliest.

The initial preview reports suggest that this is one of the films that will become milestone in Malayalam. With Dileep and Meera in the lead, the film provides enough scope for great performances, especially in the directorial of Blessy who is known to bring out emotions in the most controlled manner.
