The first official trailer for 'The Maze Runner' sequel 'Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials' has been released by Twentieth Century Fox.

In 'The Maze Runner' released last year we see (spoilers) Thomas and his friends/Gladers solve the Maze. 'The Scorch Trials' sees them come up against their biggest challenge: to track and find clues behind the powerful mysterious organization called WCKD. In their journey, they come across the Scorch, an uninhabited landscape filled with daunting obstacles. For this, they then decide to team up with resistance fighters and the Gladers take it out one-on-one with WCKD`s mighty forces and expose its horrific plans for them all.

'The Scorch Trials' directed by Wes Ball with a screenplay by T.S. Nowlin is based on the novel of the same name by James Dashner. The film stars Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ki Hong Lee, Patricia Clarkson Rosa Salazar, Jacob Lofland, Giancarlo Esposito, Aidan Gillen and Lili Taylor.

'Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials' is scheduled to take us on a chase on September 18.
