Eros International, the leading global player in the Indian entertainment sector, announced the 1st week collections of Rs. 27.8 crores for its blockbuster film HEYY BABYY in India. The film released to packed cinemas on 24th August 2007 worldwide.

Starring the comedy trio Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh in lead roles with a new glamorous look for Vidya Balan, 'Heyy Babyy' was one of the highly anticipated comedies this year. It is based on the lives of 3 men sworn to bachelorhood who suddenly find their dating and mating ritual irreparably destroyed when a dimpled little roommate lands up on their doorstep – complete with her crib, pacifier and dirty nappy.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, 'Heyy Babyy' comes through an output deal signed between Eros International and Sajid Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment with whom Eros has enjoyed a long association.

Sunil Lulla, President, Eros International, India said, "Audience reactions world-wide to Heyy Babyy have been extremely encouraging. With Sajid Khan's direction and talent like Akshay, Fardeen, Ritesh and Vidya, Heyy Babyy was bound to be a stupendous hit."
