After Tamil Nadu's opposition party leader MK Stalin, now the support for Kamal Haasan comes from within one of the two factions of AIADMK.

Former AIADMK Minister K.P.Munusamy who belongs to the AIADMK Puratchi Thalaivi Amma faction lead by O.Panneerselvam has batted for Kamal Haasan's right to criticise the Government.

"In a democracy, every citizen has the right to criticise the Government. The Ministers should give proper reply to the allegations made by Kamal. He has done nothing wrong. The ministers should stop making cheap comments against Kamal."

Kamal Haasan has been criticising the Government for the past few months and recently he observed that corruption is rampant in the state and Tamil Nadu has become worse than Bihar in bribery and corruption. Reacting to this. Many cabinet ministers of the Tamil Nadu Government are strongly criticizing the multi-talented actor. Minister C.V. Shanmugam even dragged Kamal's personal life and said the 'Viswaroopam; star does not have any rights to criticise the government being a person who has lived with a woman without marrying her.

On Sunday, DMK leader Stalin sent a detailed press statement in support of Kamal Haasan and he had made strong allegations against the TN Government and ministers in that statement. Now the support has come from within the former ministers nominated from the same party, now belonging to the rebel faction.
