A serious cinema 'Shikari' and a laugh riot 'Govindayanamaha' are out in the middle in box office this week for the battle.

It is a mega welcome for the mega star Mammooty in 'Shikari' a partial period cinema. The Malayalam version of this bilingual shot film was released three weeks ago. It is now in Karnataka with over 80 theatres to treat.

Mammooty for the first time in Kannada has taken the risk of dubbing Kannada language to his role. It is another fine fettle from the actor who believes in principles and ideologies.

'Shikari' by Abhay Simha as director for K Manju films is highly expected film as senior producer Manju, Mammooty and intelligent director Abhay Simha with No.1 popular music director V Harikrishna and brilliant cameraman Vikram Srivatsav working for the film.

A software professional and freedom movement fighter role Mammooty plays with Poonam Bajwa as heroine. Aditya, Mohan, Sharat Lohitashva, Ninasam Ashwath and others are in the cast of 'Shikari'.

It is a laugh riot week as popular comedy hero Komal Kumar with four heroines Rekha, Parul, Madhulika and Ana Georgia in 'Govindayanamaha' is releasing.

The song Pyaar Ge Agbuttaithe…Namdhuke Jaan Ge Hogbuttaithe…has given a big boost to producer KA Suresh film 'Govindayanamaha'. This is the second film of the producer Suresh who is also distributing the film with eight prints and satellite screening in over 80 places.

Komal Kumar accepted this film for the brilliant way of storytelling of new comer Pawan Wadeyar. Pawan Wadeyar has taken gap from his software profession and directed this film.

Gurukiran music has been the most kicking point. It is not only Pyaare Ge Agbuttaithe….the song on actress Rekha is also very melodious in the film. Tabla Naani, Vinayak Joshi, Mukyamantri Chandru, Kirloskar Sathya, Harish Raj and others are in the cast.

Komal Kumar going behind four beautiful heroines and finding the right choice at the climax is narrated in a comedy style by director Pawan Wadeyar.
